DINKWADs

Me and my husband are DINKWAD’s – Double Income, No Kids, With A Dog

Let me introduce our furbabies, where most of our income goes to. JK

First dog, Calvin, shih tzu 8y/o. The oldest and the grumpiest of them all. He’s my husband favorite too !

Shih Tzus are known for their short snouts and large round eyes, as well as their long coat, floppy ears, and short and stout posture. They are well known for their playful personality and their calm and friendly temperament.

They can adapt well to different situations. Due to their highly independent nature, they are not considered the most obedient breed.

Next stop is Coco, a chow chow and turning 3y/o this year. The youngest of ’em all and the most aggressive there is! He bit me twice, and yet he’s still my favorite!

Chows are spitz-type of dog breed originally from northern China. The Chow Chow is a sturdily built dog, square in profile, with a broad skull and small, triangular, erect ears with rounded tips. The breed is known for a very dense double coat that is either smooth or rough. The fur is particularly thick in the neck area, giving it a distinctive ruff or mane appearance. The coat may be shaded/self-red, black, blue, cinnamon/fawn, or cream.

Well of course, Tommy the Siberian Husky who just turned 5y/o. The dumbest of ’em all who loves anything edible and the most coward too! People loves him but he’s scared of them. Which is cray right?

Siberian Huskies originated in Northeast Asia where they are bred by the Chukchi people of Siberia for sled pulling, and companionship. It is an active, energetic, resilient breed, whose ancestors lived in the extremely cold and harsh environment of the Siberian Arctic. William Goosak, a Russian fur trader, introduced them to Nome, Alaska, during the Nome Gold Rush, initially as sled dogs to work the mining fields and for expeditions through otherwise impassable terrain. Today, the Siberian Husky is typically kept as a house pet, though they are still frequently used as sled dogs by competitive and recreational mushers.

Lastly, our only girl, Klein – a lhasa apso and same age with Calvin. I had Calvin and Klein 2months apart just because I wasn’t comfortable having Calvin all alone while I’m on work. Well, we call her clingy Kleiny! Yuuuup!! She’s the clingiest!

The Lhasa Apso is a non-sporting dog breed originating in Tibet. It has traditionally been used as an interior sentinel.

Owning and taking care of a dog is a very big responsibility. Imagine having 4?! It’s 4x the responsibility.

We wouldn’t have it another way tho. These dogs gives us so much love like we’re the only thing that matters!

Y’all think we can have another dog? I guess so! Maybe soon!
